“2019 Hong Kong & Macau 7 Nights 9 Days Trip”

From March 2nd to March 10th, 2019, I embarked on a 7-night 9-day journey to Hong Kong and Macau. However, the flight departing on March 2nd left Incheon Airport at 7:35 PM and arrived at Hong Kong Airport at 11:30 PM. Similarly, the return flight on the 10th also departed at 12:40 AM, essentially making it a 7-night 7-day itinerary.

“Hong Kong & Macau Trip Itinerary”

The Hong Kong & Macau trip followed the following itinerary: First, spend 4 nights and 5 days in the Kowloon Peninsula and Hong Kong Island area. Then, move to Macau and spend 2 nights and 3 days. Return to Hong Kong, stay one night at Hong Kong Disneyland on Lantau Island, explore Lantau Island the next day, and return on the final day.

  1. Arrival at Hong Kong Airport – Transfer to Tsim Sha Tsui (Using AEL)
  2. 3 Nights at Tsim Sha Tsui Guesthouse
  3. 1 Night at Ramada Harbour View Hotel in Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong
  4. Transfer from Sai Ying Pun to Hong Kong Sheung Wan Ferry Terminal – Macau Ferry Terminal (Using Ferry)

“Expenses for Hong Kong & Macau Trip”

Despite being a 7-night 9-day trip, the expenses were not as high as expected. Since the focus was on exploring various places without indulging in extravagance, the expenses were manageable. Additionally, the first 3 nights’ accommodation was affordable, allowing for cost-effective travel.

The airfare was also reasonable. A round-trip ticket with Asiana Airlines cost around 220,000 KRW, which was not a significant burden.

The total cost for the entire trip of 7 nights and 9 days was 1,430,137 KRW. Approximately 1.5 million KRW was spent, and without visiting Disneyland, the expenses could have been significantly reduced.
