Victoria Peak Tower, Fast Food ‘Burger King’

The area around Victoria Peak can be accessed by taking the Peak Tram. Here, you can find various shopping malls and observatories, making it one of the top spots for enjoying the stunning Hong Kong skyline.

Victoria Peak is located on a high point in the mid-levels of Hong Kong Island, allowing you to enjoy the view of Hong Kong from above.

Originally, the plan was to have an early lunch or dinner before going up to Victoria Peak. However, due to not properly checking the “Klook” meeting point, a considerable amount of time was spent, and it ended up being too late for a meal. I had no choice but to ascend Victoria Peak without having a meal.

Since the waiting time for the Peak Tram ride was quite long, it was already quite late for dinner. I ended up having a meal at a restaurant that was visible in front of me.

There are several restaurants at Victoria Peak, but being a well-known tourist destination, most of them did not seem suitable for dining alone. I spotted a place where I could have a simple and hassle-free meal, which happened to be Burger King, a chain commonly seen in South Korea as well.

You can find Burger King at Victoria Peak on the 2nd floor of the Peak Tower. Since it’s a Burger King outlet, there wasn’t anything particularly distinctive about it in Hong Kong. The only unique feature might be that this Burger King, situated in the Peak Tower, allows you to enjoy the view of Hong Kong from the back entrance.

Although some parts of the view of Hong Kong Island are partially obstructed by the mountain, it’s a place where you can have a meal while enjoying the scenery. Of course, near the Peak Tram station at Victoria Peak, you can find various observatories, so if possible, it’s recommended to go up to an observatory to enjoy the view.
