Hong Kong Central “Ferris Wheel”

In the central area of Hong Kong Island, you can find the Hong Kong Ferris Wheel. It’s located near the Central Ferry Terminal, which connects Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula.

“While it may appear small from a distance, it’s actually a large Ferris wheel.”

The Hong Kong Ferris Wheel in Central may seem relatively small compared to the towering buildings from a distance. However, when you get up close, you’ll realize its substantial size.

The wheel stands at a height of 60 meters, which isn’t particularly large. It’s intentionally designed on a smaller scale to avoid obstructing the Hong Kong skyline.

The Ferris wheel consists of 42 gondolas, with one of them being a VIP gondola. Each gondola has eight seats.

“Enjoying the View of Victoria Harbour from the Ferris Wheel”

From the Ferris wheel, you can admire the scenery in front of Hong Kong Island. Specifically, you can take in the view of Victoria Harbour while comfortably seated in the gondola. So, when you’re feeling a bit tired during your travels, it’s nice to relax and enjoy the Hong Kong scenery from the Ferris wheel. This is especially a great activity to do with a partner or family.

“Admiring Hong Kong’s Night View from the Ferris Wheel”

On this day, I considered riding the Ferris wheel during the day, but the lines were too long. So, I decided to try it on the way back to my accommodation in the evening when the lines were shorter.

Although I rode it alone and felt a bit disappointed, the experience was unexpectedly enjoyable. They even let it rotate for three full rounds, which was quite generous. Normally, they only rotate it once, so I found myself wondering when they would stop.

The Ferris wheel near Central Hong Kong offers a great facility for enjoying the view of the sea in front of Hong Kong, making it an ideal place to ride with a partner or family.
