Seoul Gwanghwamun Restaurant – ‘KB Kookmin Card In-house Restaurant’

The Gwanghwamun area in Seoul is a representative office-dense area. It houses the government Seoul City Hall and the headquarters of various newspapers, as well as the buildings of major corporations. During lunchtime, you can see numerous office workers coming out to have their meals.

In the case of major corporations, they operate in-house restaurants for their employees. Likewise, “KB Kookmin Card,” located west of Gwanghwamun Square, also operates an in-house restaurant. It appears to be operated by the LG-affiliated “Our Home.”

KB Kookmin Card’s in-house restaurant can be found on the basement floor of the building. Among the underground shopping areas, it is the largest restaurant.

One of the advantages here is the affordable price. A meal costs only 6,000 Korean won. Considering the price, the quality is not bad, making it a place for a cost-effective meal. With the recent rapid increase in prices and considering the cost of living in the Gwanghwamun area, the average lunch cost easily exceeds 10,000 won. Being able to have a meal for 6,000 won is not only a hearty meal but also a good option for saving money.

“Daily, a variety of menus are provided”

Since it is an in-house restaurant, a variety of dishes are provided daily according to the menu. Thanks to this, you can visit without worrying about what to eat today and simply have a meal based on the food available.

The menu is also decent, as it is likely to have been thoughtfully curated by the restaurant’s nutritionist.

“Use KB Kookmin Card to have a meal”

Even if you’re not an employee, you can still have a meal. By using the KB Kookmin Card, you can have a meal. Alternatively, you can use “KB Pay” to pay for the meal. Upon visiting, I observed that all the employees used their cards for payment and meals.

This restaurant, located in the Gwanghwamun area, is a place where you can have an affordable meal. Its spacious size allows many people to have a meal at once, minimizing the waiting time for lunch.
