Outback Steakhouse is a family restaurant franchise originating from the United States. In South Korea, it has expanded through Outback Steakhouse Korea Limited.

True to its name as a steakhouse, steak is the main dish. Recently, they have introduced the Black Label series and Tomahawk series, earning favorable reviews for serving tasty steaks among family restaurants.

As of September 1, 2020, there are 87 Outback Steakhouse locations in South Korea, making it the second-largest after the United States. Opening its first Korean branch in 1997 in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, in Deungchon-dong, the airport branch marked the beginning. Throughout the 2000s, it led the trend of family restaurants.

In the Gwanghwamun area, you can find an Outback Steakhouse on the 3rd floor of the D Tower, which houses various family restaurants.

“A Comfortable Atmosphere of a Family Restaurant”

Outback Steakhouse exudes a comfortable atmosphere. Situated at the end of a corridor on the 3rd floor of D Tower, it offers a relatively quiet ambiance.

During this visit to Outback Steakhouse for a company gathering, we opted for a lunch meeting instead of an evening one. Thanks to that, we could enjoy a hearty lunch.

The day at Outback included steaks, pasta, fries, and beverages. Although the group visit resulted in a reasonable bill, it’s a great place for special occasions.
