Incheon Songdo 4-Star Hotel: Ramada Hotel

Ramada Hotel is a hotel brand operated by Wyndham. Wyndham is the world’s largest hotel chain based on the number of hotels. However, most of the hotels fall under the category of business hotels, and the brand itself is positioned as “Upper Midscale” or below.

“Ramada Hotels, Found Throughout South Korea”

Ramada Hotels can be found throughout South Korea. In major cities, it’s easy to come across a Ramada Hotel. However, none of these hotels are rated as 5-star, all falling within the range of 3 to 4 stars.

“Incheon Songdo: Ramada Hotel”

You can also find a Ramada Hotel in Incheon Songdo. Typically, when we think of “Incheon Songdo,” it’s not located in the newly developed city area but rather in close proximity to the former location of “Songdo Amusement Park.”

The area around the hotel is bustling with various restaurants and cafes, giving off a touristy vibe.

Songdo Convensia, the convention center in Incheon Songdo, is about 3.2 kilometers away, taking approximately 10 to 15 minutes by car. During my stay, this was important as I was attending an event at Songdo Convensia. Despite being on the outskirts of Songdo New City, it wasn’t too far from the center of Songdo, which was convenient.

“A 4-Star Hotel with a Vintage Feel”

Ramada Songdo Hotel is a 4-star hotel, which makes it quite substantial in size. It’s likely that in the past, before the development of Songdo New City, it held a prominent position.

First and foremost, the building is quite large, and there’s a separate convention hall within the hotel. I get the feeling that many exhibitions, conventions, and events in the Incheon area were held here before Songdo Convensia was established.

You can especially feel this when having breakfast in the hotel. The place where you have breakfast feels like a convention or banquet hall, offering a unique atmosphere for dining in a spacious area with high ceilings.

“Clean and Spacious Rooms”

The rooms are also kept clean and spacious. The bed size is generous, and overall, the rooms feel open and airy, providing a comfortable stay.

Parking spaces are also ample, allowing for outdoor parking in front of the hotel.

While the scale is quite large, due to the development of Songdo New City, it gives off a slightly diminished grandeur, offering a more serene atmosphere than expected.
