Kimcheon Accommodation: EX Motel

Kimcheon is not a particularly large city, and it’s not a major tourist destination either. It’s considered relatively challenging to find accommodation compared to other places, as it’s not a metropolitan area and doesn’t have well-known tourist spots.

“EX Motel in Kimcheon”

I had an overnight stay planned in Kimcheon. After searching for several accommodations, I ultimately chose a place called “EX Motel.” The reason for this choice was that the price was reasonable, and it wasn’t too far from the city center.

I aimed to find accommodation in the city center if possible, but I couldn’t find any options in the central area of Kimcheon. That’s why I settled on this place. It’s located between “Kimcheon Bridge” and “Kimcheon University Bridge.” When I visited, I noticed there were various accommodations nearby. It seems to be an area with many motels.

“Relatively Spacious EX Motel in Kimcheon”

In Kimcheon, I found that for the same price, I could get a more spacious room compared to other areas. I was able to stay here for 35,000 KRW per night, which was almost twice the size of the accommodation I stayed in Pohang for the same price. Since there were two of us staying for one night, it came out to be 17,500 KRW per person.

Of course, it might be intentionally giving larger rooms due to the off-season, but overall, it seems like the rooms were made generously spacious. Thanks to that, I was able to comfortably spend a night in Kimcheon.
