Just like in South Korea, you can find various convenience stores in Japan. Familiar names like Seven-Eleven, commonly seen in South Korea, can also be found in Japan. Additionally, there are Japanese convenience store chains like “Lawson,” which may not be present in South Korea but are readily available in Japan.
While traveling in Japan, it’s natural to frequently visit convenience stores. The overall quality of the food sold in Japanese convenience stores is quite high. You can easily grab a bento box or other meals, making it a convenient option for a decent meal during your travels in Japan.
“Tokyo Asakusabashi Convenience Store, Lawson Convenience Store”
During this trip, except for the first day, we stayed at the “Henna Hotel” in Asakusabashi. The convenience store nearby was the “Lawson Convenience Store Asakusabashi Branch,” so we naturally found ourselves visiting this place frequently.
It may not significantly differ from other convenience stores, and it’s a common sight in daily life, so I didn’t intend to highlight it. Nevertheless, considering it was the place I visited the most during this trip, I decided to capture it in photos.
“A Lawson Convenience Store with Considerable Size”
This Lawson store seemed to be more spacious compared to other convenience stores. The size allowed for a more relaxed shopping experience, with items displayed more comfortably. While many Japanese stores, like Don Quijote, have items crammed close together, this Lawson store had a more spacious and relaxed atmosphere, providing a comfortable shopping experience.
Moreover, the store provided amenities such as a copier, and there was ample space for customers to sit and eat if needed.
Though there wasn’t anything particularly distinct compared to other convenience stores, I grew fond of this place during this trip, making it worthy of a mention through photos and text.
