“Starbucks Daehangno Branch” in Seoul, South Korea

On July 27, 1999, Starbucks made its debut in South Korea with the opening of its first store near Ewha Womans University. Initially, there were controversies due to the high prices of coffee compared to regular meals, but now Starbucks has firmly established its presence in South Korea.

In the bustling area of Daehangno, known for its numerous small theaters, Starbucks is easily found. Within Daehangno itself, you can find many Starbucks locations. Interestingly, among them, the Starbucks located in the “Hongik University Daehangno Campus” building uses the name “Daehangno Branch.”

You can find the Starbucks Daehangno Branch on the 1st floor of the Hongik University Daehangno Campus. While it may not differ significantly from other Starbucks branches, this particular one feels especially neat and well-maintained, possibly due to the relatively recent construction of the building.

This Starbucks occupies a single floor, but the space is quite spacious. The layout of the tables is arranged with plenty of space, giving it an even more open feeling.

“Conveniently Located Starbucks Near Ihwa Intersection”

The Starbucks Daehangno Branch is located south of Hyehwa Station, considered the heart of Daehangno. You can find it near Ihwa Intersection, and it is also across from the campus of the Korea National Open University.

Starbucks has become as ubiquitous as convenience stores in South Korea. Thanks to this, it’s a great place to spend some time in a relaxed manner.
