One of the natural steps taken in preparation for overseas travel is the exchange of local currency. As I was planning a trip to Japan this time, the process of exchanging Korean Won for Japanese Yen naturally became necessary.

For the yen exchange on this trip, there was a convenient method using the “Shinhan Bank Sol” app, allowing me to exchange currency smoothly. In Japan, cash is generally preferred, and it’s essential to secure enough cash, especially in areas like Osaka, where cash usage is more prevalent due to its developed commercial activities.
“Exchanging Yen with Shinhan Bank Sol App”
The Shinhan Bank Sol app provides an easy and convenient way to exchange foreign currency. By using the app, you can apply for currency exchange, receive yen at the airport, and enjoy a 90% exchange rate discount.
