As you ascend to the 6th floor of PARCO Department Store, located in the bustling district of Shinsaibashi in Osaka, you’ll come across various character shops. One of these is the Capcom Store, also situated on the 6th floor of the department store. Here, you can find merchandise featuring characters not only from the Street Fighter game, a nostalgic part of many people’s childhoods, but also from various other Capcom games.

As I explored the 6th floor of PARCO Department Store, a few stores caught my eye, and one of them was Capcom Store. The reason was quite simple – right at the entrance of the store stood a statue of Ryu, the character from the Street Fighter game, using his iconic move, Shoryuken.
Seeing Ryu, a character that has become a nostalgic figure for me, after a long time, brought a sense of joy, leading me naturally into the store.
“A Store Featuring Merchandise of Various Capcom Characters”
Being a character store, there were plenty of commemorative items featuring characters from Capcom. Additionally, on one side of the store, there were gaming consoles set up, although no one seemed to be actively playing. Perhaps most visitors were busy with their shopping and didn’t find the time to indulge in gaming here.
This store is an interesting place where you can find merchandise from the Street Fighter series, which can be considered Capcom’s flagship, as well as items featuring characters from other Capcom games.
