Jamdubong Photo Island, which you can encounter on the way up to Namsan Park, is a small observatory located on the middle of Namsan.

It’s an observatory where you can enjoy a view towards “Myeongdong” direction from Namsan. Of course, it might be more impressive to go to the summit and view all of Seoul, but looking down from a very high place may make the buildings appear too tiny, leaving something to be desired.

However, at Jamdubong Photo Island, you can enjoy a view of Myeongdong area from a moderate height, making it a great place, especially for capturing night views.

Rather than a place specifically for tourists coming from abroad, it’s more of a spot for those who want to appreciate Seoul from different angles and enjoy photography. It’s an excellent location for taking pictures.
