Jeju Seongsan 4-Star Hotel “Cordelia S Hotel”

This Jeju trip lasted for 3 nights and 4 days. I stayed at “Shin Shin Hotel Cheonjeyeon” in Seogwipo for the first 2 nights, and spent the remaining day at “Cordelia S Hotel” in Seongsan.

While it would have been nice to stay in one place for all 3 nights, I felt like it might be too repetitive, so I decided to stay at a hotel in a completely different area for the last day.

“Jeju Seongsan: Cordelia S Hotel”

Cordelia S Hotel is located in Seongsan, and it gives off more of a resort-like vibe nestled in the serene nature rather than being a hotel in the city center. It felt more like a resort than a hotel in some ways.

Since it’s situated in nature, it feels like a place with a larger operating space. In terms of size alone, it was much more spacious compared to Shin Shin Hotel Cheonjeyeon where I stayed in Seogwipo.

However, the overall atmosphere gave off more of a youth hostel vibe rather than a hotel. I thought it would be a good place to stay for group or family trips rather than traveling alone.

“Spacious Room, but Soundproofing is not Great.”

Perhaps because it’s located on the outskirts, they tend to offer relatively spacious rooms. I stayed in a room with two beds by myself, so in terms of space, it was more than satisfactory. In fact, it felt almost too spacious, to the point of being overwhelming.

However, the soundproofing is relatively poor, so even though there weren’t many guests in the rooms, I could hear noises from the hallway. Fortunately, it wasn’t a big inconvenience since it was the off-season with not many travelers. But during the peak season, it might be a bit inconvenient due to the soundproofing.

“The Hotel has a Heated Swimming Pool.”

The hotel itself operates a fairly large swimming pool, which I thought would be suitable for families to enjoy swimming together. However, personally, it was my last day of the trip, and I arrived late and left early in the morning, so I didn’t get a chance to visit the pool.

“Off-season Rates: KRW 25,000 – 30,000 per Night”

Since I visited Jeju Island during the off-season, the accommodation wasn’t too expensive. Even though I made the reservation just a day before the start of my Jeju trip, I was able to stay for one night at a relatively low cost of around KRW 25,000.

It’s a hotel with good value for money, and it’s a good place to stay if you need accommodation in Seongsan. Especially, the ample parking space is a plus, and for family trips, you can make good use of the space.
