Icheon is particularly famous for its rice. So when you mention “Icheon rice,” it’s commonly regarded as top-notch rice. Especially, in the past, Icheon gained a reputation for producing high-quality rice, which naturally led to the equation “Icheon = Rice.”

Times Square in Yeongdeungpo is a complex commercial facility that can be considered a central area in the southwest of Seoul. Here, you can find various restaurants, cafes, shops, and more.

“Yeongdeungpo Times Square Hanjeongsik Restaurant: Icheon Garden”

At Yeongdeungpo Times Square, you can find a variety of restaurants. Due to its enormous size, it’s natural that you can also find various restaurant districts.

“Icheon Garden,” well known for its Hanjeongsik (traditional Korean course meal) utilizing Icheon rice, can also be found here. Its location is on the 3rd floor of Yeongdeungpo Times Square. If you go up one more floor from the floor with Kyobo Bookstore, you can find it on the same side as Kyobo Bookstore.

From the entrance to the entire store, it’s decorated with yellow rice, making it even more eye-catching.

“A Variety of Hanjeongsik Menus”

The menu is diverse, including samgyeopsal (pork belly) set, beef sirloin set, steak, and more… It’s a place where you should expect to spend around 10,000 to 15,000 KRW for a meal. Since it’s a restaurant inside Times Square, the prices are slightly higher compared to restaurants in the nearby area.

On this day, I visited with several friends, and personally, I ordered the Steak Set (L) size. The price was 17,900 KRW, which can be considered a bit burdensome for a single meal, but it provided a hearty meal, allowing me to comfortably enjoy my meal.

Since it’s a restaurant located inside Times Square, it’s not a restaurant that offers great overall value. However, it’s a good place to have a comfortable and clean meal inside Times Square. It’s a great place to visit with family or a significant other.

If you’re looking for a Hanjeongsik restaurant in Times Square, it’s worth considering at least once.
