Tokyo Shibuya “Disney Store”

While you can’t find Disneyland in Korea, in Tokyo, Japan, you can explore both Disneyland and DisneySea. Although these attractions are a bit away from Tokyo’s city center and are known for drawing large crowds, they are also renowned for their expensive hotel accommodations.

“Disney Stores Scattered Throughout Tokyo City”

To cater to those who might find it challenging to visit Disneyland on the outskirts, Disney Stores are scattered throughout Tokyo’s city center. These stores, as the name suggests, sell various products featuring Disney characters. You can find Disney Stores in places like Odaiba Aqua City, as well as major Tokyo areas such as Shibuya, Harajuku, and Shinjuku.

“Disney Store Visited in Shibuya”

The Disney Store visited this time is located in Shibuya. The building is sizable, spanning three floors, and gives off a Disney-themed atmosphere right from its exterior. The entrance can be found on the first floor, but there is also a second-floor entrance.

“A Store Offering Various Disney Character Merchandise”

As expected, the Disney Store showcases a variety of products related to Disney characters. There was a wide array of merchandise featuring different Disney characters on display.

Initially, I had planned to just look around and leave, but a 50% discount corner caught my eye. Unable to resist the temptation of a 50% discount, I ended up purchasing an item. When I went to pay, I noticed they were selling a thermal-insulated water bottle for 980 yen, so I added that to my purchase. Considering the original price of the thermal-insulated water bottle was around 2,500 yen, it was a significantly affordable deal.

“Tax-Free Shopping for Purchases Over 5,000 Yen at Disney Store”

The Disney Store also offers a tax-free benefit if you make a purchase of 5,000 yen or more. Although my total purchase amount didn’t exceed 5,000 yen this time, it’s good to know this information for future reference.

“Third Floor – Where You Can Purchase Disneyland Tickets”

On the third floor, there is a booth where you can purchase Disneyland tickets. If you plan to visit Disneyland, buying tickets in advance here can save you time. Of course, if you have planned your visit to Disneyland well in advance during your trip to Japan, it might be more economical to purchase tickets through our country’s social commerce platforms. However, if your travel plans suddenly change and you find yourself in Japan, knowing you can buy tickets here could be helpful.
