Samsung Product Store in Gangnam, Seoul: ‘Delight Shop’

In the Samsung Electronics building, adjacent to exits 7 and 8 of Gangnam Station in Seoul, you can find an exhibition space called “Samsung Delight.” It can be described as a kind of product museum where you can appreciate various products from Samsung Electronics. It serves as both a product museum and an experiential showroom, allowing visitors to explore a wide range of Samsung products.

Although it hadn’t been operating properly due to COVID-19 for a while, when I visited again after a long time, I was informed that it is now open on weekdays. Unfortunately, on the day of my visit, which happened to be a weekend, it was not accessible.

“Samsung Product Showcase Store: Samsung Delight Shop”

While I regretted not being able to visit Samsung Delight, fortunately, there was a space on the basement level that could help alleviate that disappointment. This store, named “Samsung Delight Shop,” showcases various Samsung products.

Similar to how Apple has Apple Stores, Samsung has its own equivalent with the “Delight Shop,” which is comparable in scale to Apple Stores.

Samsung Delight Shop is located underground, making it relatively inconspicuous. If you take the subway, head towards Gangnam Station Exit 8. You’ll find a path leading to the Samsung Electronics building. Follow this path, and you’ll discover the Delight Shop on the basement level.

“A Store to Experience a Variety of Samsung Products”

Samsung Delight Shop is a Samsung Electronics store, showcasing a wide range of products produced by Samsung. Thanks to this, you can find everything from the Galaxy series of mobile phones to laptops, Galaxy Watches, and more. Rather than just browsing the displayed products, you can actually touch and experience them. In this regard, the store resembles Apple’s Apple Stores quite closely.

In addition to Samsung Electronics’ products, you can also partially experience products from other companies. I spotted Bose speakers on display, giving the impression that they are showcasing products that complement Samsung’s offerings.

Furthermore, various home appliances such as refrigerators, air purifiers, and TVs, all produced by Samsung Electronics, are also on display. It’s an enjoyable store where you can encounter, touch, and if necessary, purchase Samsung’s products all in one place.
