The practical final destination of my Hong Kong trip was the area around Tung Chung Station. In this area, I found Citygate Outlets, allowing me to spend my last moments in Hong Kong purchasing souvenirs to share with friends.
Fortunately, Citygate Outlets offered a variety of stores, and one that caught my eye was “Kee Wah Bakery.”
“Recommended as a Hong Kong Travel Souvenir – Kee Wah Bakery”
While researching souvenirs during my Hong Kong trip, I noticed that along with Jenny Bakery, “Kee Wah Bakery” and their panda cookies were frequently mentioned in souvenir recommendations. Before leaving Hong Kong, I checked if there was a Kee Wah Bakery nearby and found one at Tung Chung Station, so I decided to pay a visit.
“Known for Panda Cookies – Kee Wah Bakery”
Kee Wah Bakery is known for its adorable panda-shaped cookies. The cookies are individually wrapped, making them suitable for long-term storage. (In contrast, Jenny Bakery in Hong Kong doesn’t individually wrap their cookies, which can be a bit inconvenient for sharing.)
Additionally, Kee Wah Bakery had recently introduced “Penguin Cookies” featuring character designs.
“They also offer gift sets at Kee Wah Bakery”
While the Kee Wah Bakery store wasn’t very large, it offered a variety of products. They also had gift sets available, which bundled various items together.
I purchased a few panda cookies for casual sharing with acquaintances, so my visit this time was relatively brief.
You can find Kee Wah Bakery on the underground 1st floor of Citygate Outlets near Tung Chung Station. Additionally, you can also find it at Hong Kong Airport, so it’s not necessary to purchase from Tung Chung Station if it’s not convenient.
