You can find Starbucks in various places on Jeju Island as well. Right next to a restaurant serving grilled mackerel and rice in Seongsan, you can find a Starbucks that operates as a “Drive-Thru Store.”

The Starbucks in Seongsan, like other Starbucks locations, was kept clean and well-maintained. The notable difference was the ability to place orders through the drive-thru.
Since there was no need to rush and drive, I took a moment to go in and enjoy the view. The cafe is spread over two floors, and the interior design is not significantly different from other Starbucks locations.
On the first floor, you can find the counter for placing orders and some seating. The second floor is equipped with seats, and it had a refreshing, open layout. In particular, there was a terrace outdoors, making it a pleasant place to spend time while enjoying the weather on a nice day.
“An Eco-Friendly Store without Disposable Cups”
Most Starbucks stores on Jeju Island operate as eco-friendly stores. When drinking inside the store, you can use a store cup, but if you choose to take out, you need to purchase an eco-cup for 1,000 won.
You can get a refund upon return, but it can only be done at the store where you made the purchase or at the airport. You must either return it at the airport before your trip ends or visit the store where you made the order to return it.
If you choose to get a refund at Jeju Airport, you can find it at the “Domestic Departure Gate 2.” The refund can be received in cash, Starbucks card recharge, or Happy Habit.
While the Starbucks in Seongsan, Jeju may not be as large in scale as others, its compact size is well-maintained and makes it a place you’d want to visit. Especially on a beautiful day, it’s a great place to enjoy the Jeju Island scenery and pass the time.
