Jeju Sawol is a souvenir shop located not far from Jeju International Airport. It’s about a 5-minute drive from the airport and is situated on the 1st floor of the Jeju Mary Convention Center.
“Jeju Souvenir Shop, Jeju Sawol”
Jeju Sawol offers a variety of souvenirs that you can find on Jeju Island, making it a great place to shop for mementos of your Jeju trip. What’s even better is that it’s conveniently located not far from the airport, making it a perfect stop for souvenir shopping before concluding your journey.
“Jeju Tour Pass”
You can also use the Jeju Tour Pass here. It would have been even better if I could have used it on the last day of my Jeju trip, but unfortunately, the dates and times didn’t align.
For this trip, I had to plan my route in order to return near the airport towards the end of the journey. As a result, this place ended up being the first stop on my Jeju Island adventure.
I ended up making a purchase right away, and if you use the Jeju Tour Pass, you can get 5,000 KRW worth of goods for free. If you want to buy more, you can simply make a separate payment for the amount exceeding 5,000 KRW.
“A Variety of Jeju Island Souvenirs”
I felt like Jeju Island souvenirs have evolved and improved a lot over the past few years. In the past, when you thought of Jeju Island souvenirs, it was mostly just tangerine chocolates. But now, it seems like a variety of other products have emerged.
You can also find a miniature version of Hallasan Soju, a type of liquor unique to Jeju Island, here. You can purchase three small bottles of Hallasan Soju for 4,000 KRW. Personally, I’m not a big fan of alcohol, but I thought it would make a nice gift for my friends, so I bought some.
“Parking Lot”
You can use the underground parking lot or the dedicated parking lot next to the building for parking. It’s a paid parking lot, but if you pay at Jeju Sawol and provide your license plate number, you can receive a parking discount, so keep that in mind.
Concluding your Jeju trip near Jeju Airport and purchasing souvenirs to remember your trip is a great idea. (Personally, it ended up being the first place I visited on my Jeju trip out of necessity, but it might end up being even more memorable for that reason.)
