In Yeouido, Seoul, the Hyundai Department Store flagship store named “The Hyundai Seoul” has opened its doors. It opened on February 26, 2021, making it a relatively recent addition.
“The Hyundai Seoul” is the flagship store of Hyundai Department Store. It has a floor area of 27,000 square meters, making it the largest single-building department store in Seoul and the seventh largest nationwide.
The Hyundai Seoul is the 16th store introduced by Hyundai Department Store since the Pangyo store in 2015. Chairman Jung Ji-sun expressed the ambition to make The Hyundai Seoul the top landmark in South Korea and elevate the status of the group with this flagship store.

The journey at The Hyundai Seoul begins from the “Basement 2nd floor.” Although it extends down to the 6th floor, from the 3rd to the 6th floor, it serves as an underground parking lot.

Especially on the Basement 2nd floor, it targets the MZ generation, showcasing sports brands like Nike, Adidas, and international fashion brands like MSGM and Marc Jacobs, offering a curated selection distinct from traditional department stores.
