Gasan Digital Complex Meat Restaurant: Pungnyeon Galbi

The Gasan Digital Complex, along with the Guro Digital Complex, is a prominent office-dense area in the southwestern part of Seoul. While it used to primarily house industrial complexes, it has now transformed into a hub for cutting-edge industries.

Due to the high influx of people here, you can also find quite a few restaurants with long-standing histories nearby. Pungnyeon Galbi is one such restaurant that has been serving meat in one location for a considerable period.

“A Meat Restaurant with Indoor on the 1st Floor and Outdoor Seating on the 2nd Floor”

The restaurant occupies the second floor, offering indoor seating on the first floor and an outdoor rooftop area for dining.

During our visit, it was a slightly chilly evening, but not uncomfortably so. We opted for outdoor seating, and as we ascended to the second floor, we found a spacious outdoor area set up for grilling meat.

“Restaurant Review: Slightly Understaffed for the Number of Customers”

However, there was a slight downside. It was the dinner rush hour, and the restaurant was bustling with guests. Unfortunately, there weren’t enough staff members, which resulted in them constantly being busy.

As a consequence, even the basic setup took quite a long time, and trying to place an additional order was challenging as we couldn’t easily find staff members around.

Nevertheless, despite this, it’s a unique place that allows you to grill meat outdoors on a rooftop in the heart of the city. It’s an excellent spot to gather with friends, grill meat, and enjoy good conversation.
