“50th Anniversary Commemoration: Metal Limited Edition”
In 2014, Monami released a limited edition to commemorate its 50th anniversary. It was a “Metal Limited Edition Ballpoint Pen” released in limited quantities of only 10,000. Priced at 20,000 won, it gained sudden popularity, experiencing scarcity in the market.
This product, initially priced at 20,000 won, was traded among collectors for up to 200,000 won per unit.
“Monami 153 ID”
After the storm of the limited edition, a new product was introduced, known as the “Monami 153 ID.”
The “Monami 153 ID” is also a metal-made ballpoint pen and shares a significant resemblance to the limited edition product. It uses the same ballpoint pen refill as the limited edition.
However, in terms of design, it was initially released in white and black. Now, it is available in various colors.
