Yeouido IFC Mall, Gomtang Restaurant ‘I Yeogomtang’

In the heart of Yeouido, you can find the “IFC” building. “IFC” stands for “International Finance Centre,” and there are a total of three series in Yeouido: One IFC, Two IFC, and Three IFC. Additionally, there is a space called “IFC Mall” here, which is home to a wide range of commercial facilities.

However, the IFC Mall is not above ground; it’s connected underground. Despite being underground, the glass ceiling gives it the feel of being above ground. IFC Mall is directly connected to the three IFC towers and Conrad Seoul.

“Connected to Basement Floors 1, 2, and 3, IFC Mall”

IFC Mall extends across basement floors 1, 2, and 3. The first and second floors feature fashion and miscellaneous goods, while the third floor houses CGV and a dining area.

On the third basement floor of IFC Mall, various restaurants are densely clustered around the Food Empire. ‘I Yeogomtang’ can also be found here.

“Specializing in Gomtang, ‘I Yeogomtang'”

As the name suggests, ‘I Yeogomtang’ is a restaurant specializing in Gomtang (beef bone soup). It is renowned as one of the top three and top five Gomtang restaurants in Seoul. Since it operates as a franchise, it can be found not only in Yeouido but also in other locations.

The menu consists primarily of Gomtang and various side dishes.

“Special Gomtang: KRW 15,000”

During this visit, I ordered the Special Gomtang. Since it was lunchtime and I was quite hungry, I opted for the special size.

I felt that there was more meat compared to the regular size, which naturally made for a hearty meal.

While the special size may seem a bit pricey at KRW 15,000, when you want a satisfying meal, choosing the special size can be a good option.

“Spacious and Well-Maintained Store”

The store is generally spacious and well-maintained. Like other restaurants in IFC Mall, they provide food in a clean manner.

If you find yourself needing a meal in Yeouido IFC Mall, it would be a good idea to explore the restaurants and menus on the third basement floor before making a decision.
