Over time, it has evolved into a representative commercial district and gained fame as a “shopping street,” reminiscent of South Korea’s Gangnam Boulevard.

Today, Orchard Road is home to numerous large shopping malls. Among them is the relatively recent addition, “ION Orchard.” This mall offers tourists a complimentary observatory called “ION Sky.”

The name of the observatory on the 55th floor of ION Orchard is “ION Sky.” To access this site, head to “Lobby A” on the 4th floor of ION Orchard and inquire at the “Concierge” desk.
On the 4th floor, an elevator will take you to the observatory, and you can enjoy a complimentary exhibition at the elevator boarding area.

Upon reaching the 55th floor, you’ll be treated to a panoramic view of Singapore. Unfortunately, during my visit, the weather was rainy, and clouds obstructed the view.
