“Sindorim, International Food Street, Jeju Eunhee’s Hangover Soup”

In the International Food Street in Sindorim, you can find a restaurant called ‘Jeju Eunhee’s Hangover Soup’. Eunhee’s restaurant is known for its “Beef Hangover Soup” and has earned a place among the top restaurants with just this one dish. Recognized for its skills in Jeju Island, it has now become a franchise and is expanding its stores nationwide.

Jeju Eunhee’s Hangover Soup was first opened by Ms. Lee Eunhee in Ildo 2-dong, Jeju City, Jeju Island, in 2002. It is the original main store that has been in operation for 20 years. Originally, “Eunhee’s Hangover Soup” could only be tasted in Jeju Island. However, in 2017, when a franchise contract was signed with “Hasol FNB”, the same taste of food could be enjoyed not only in Jeju but also all over the country.

“Beef Hangover Soup, Intestine Soup, Dombe Beef”

Just like the menu at the main branch of Jeju Eunhee’s Hangover Soup is simple, the menus you can see here are also simple. Based on “Beef Hangover Soup”, they also sell other menus, and the indispensable “Dombe Beef” in Jeju can also be found here.

Hangover soup costs 9,000 won per serving, and it is characterized by generous ingredients such as “beef, intestine, bean sprouts, and bracken.” It’s a menu with the advantage of being able to have a hearty meal with just one bowl of soup.

“A Hearty Bowl of Beef Hangover Soup”

This time, I ordered the “Beef Hangover Soup.” With various ingredients generously included, I was able to have a satisfying meal.

Intestines are a characteristic ingredient, and personally, I’m not particularly fond of them. However, the intestines in “Jeju Eunhee’s Hangover Soup” are less bitter, so I don’t have a strong aversion to eating them.

While it would be even more delicious to visit Jeju Island in person, this restaurant allows you to experience the taste of Jeju even without going there. It’s a good place to visit on days when you crave a warm bowl of hangover soup. The restaurant is of a reasonable size and can accommodate about 30 people at once. It’s suitable for dining alone and also for visiting with friends.
