Seoul Sindorim D-Cube City Bookstore “Kyobo Bookstore”

Kyobo Bookstore is the largest bookstore in South Korea, offering a wide range of domestic and foreign books. It currently operates both online and offline stores, making it the largest bookstore in terms of scale in South Korea.

You can find Kyobo Bookstore in major cities, including Seoul. In Seoul, it can be found not only at the main Gwanghwamun branch but also in prominent areas like Gangnam. Especially in large shopping malls, you are likely to find either Kyobo. Bookstore or Youngpoong Bookstore, which are the top two bookstores competing for the top spot.

Located in Sindorim, there is a landmark building called “D-Cube City.” This building houses a Hyundai Department Store, where various shops are located.

You can find a bookstore at the Hyundai Department Store D-Cube City. The Kyobo Bookstore located in D-Cube City, while much smaller compared to the main branches in places like Gwanghwamun, Gangnam, and Hapjeong, still offers a variety of books and stationery for customers to browse.

This store differs slightly from other Kyobo Bookstores in that it relatively lacks books compared to other locations. Instead, various other goods, especially stationery, fill that space. It’s a location where non-book items have a higher presence compared to books.

“You Can Order from Kyobo Bookstore Online”

Kyobo Bookstore offers not only offline stores but also the option to order online. You can have books delivered to you through online orders, or you can visit the store directly using the “Baro Dream” service.

The “Baro Dream” service started on May 26, 2009. The advantages include receiving books at a lower price compared to delivery, without any shipping costs, and the ability to pick up books right away if they are available at a nearby store. Utilizing the “Baro Dream” service can allow you to purchase books at a lower cost than buying them directly from the store.

The Kyobo Bookstore in Sindorim Hyundai Department Store D-Cube City also operates a “Baro Dream” center, so you can order online and pick up the books in person.

While it may be smaller in scale compared to other large Kyobo Bookstores, it is a well-stocked store with everything you might need. Above all, it is located in the convenient transportation hub of Sindorim Station in the southwestern part of Seoul, inside the Hyundai Department Store D-Cube City.
