Seoul Hapjeong, Animation Goods Store “Aniplus Shop”

Aniplus Shop is a directly operated store by the cable animation channel Aniplus, selling animation-related goods. It is a place where goods from animation works that were simultaneously broadcasted or have rights from Aniplus are sold.

Currently, there are five Aniplus Shops, starting with the 1st branch in Seoul Hapjeong, followed by the 2nd branch in Singapore, the 3rd branch in Daejeon, the 4th branch in Gwangju Chungjangno, and the 5th branch in Busan Seomyeon.

In the basement of Delight Square building in Hapjeong, Seoul, you can find the 1st branch of Aniplus Shop. It was opened on April 28, 2017, making it the first and most representative store among Aniplus Shops.

Delight Square is connected to Hapjeong subway station, allowing you to enter the building directly through the subway exit without going outside.

“A Place Selling Various Animation Goods”

Aniplus Shop offers a wide range of animation-related goods. Before the renovation, they displayed goods throughout the entire store, but after the renovation, they also operate a café space.

Near the front entrance, there is a large figure of “Kato Megumi” on display. When it was known that this figure would be exhibited in the offline Aniplus Shop, it became a hot topic. Even now, it is considered the mascot that comes to mind first when thinking of Aniplus Shop.

“A Place to See Animation Trends”

Upon visiting after a long time, I could feel that the atmosphere had changed a lot from before. I could see a café, which wasn’t there in the past.

Additionally, through various goods, you can understand recent trends. Recently, I could see several goods related to the currently airing anime “Tokyo Revengers.”
