Seoul Han River, Sebitseom Island Cafe “Dolce”

On Sebitseom Island, located in Banpo, Seoul, there are several shops. On the first floor, you can find a café called “Dolce.”

In the past, there used to be a “CNN Cafe” in this location. It wasn’t particularly special – they just had CNN news playing on the monitors.

“Seoul Sebitseom Island Cafe Dolce”

I’m not sure when it happened, but the “CNN Cafe” disappeared, and in its place, “Dolce,” an Italian word meaning “sweet” or “dessert,” opened. It’s a place where you can experience the charm of the Han River up close, offering a relaxing atmosphere.

“Signature Menu: Sebit Han River Coffee”

Here, they have signature items you won’t find in other cafes. These are the “Sebit Han River Coffee” and “Sebit Han River Smoothie.”

The “Sebit Han River Coffee” features a refreshing and invigorating visual with a blue-colored drink reminiscent of the Han River on top of an Americano. It also includes Madagascar’s finest vanilla ice cream, creating a signature drink that visualizes Sebitseom Island floating on the Han River.

The “Sebit Han River Smoothie” is made by adding “orange-flavored blue sauce” to a smooth and sweet vanilla shake. With the addition of vanilla ice cream, you can enjoy the mellow flavor of vanilla twice as much.

“A Place to Enjoy the Atmosphere of the Han River”

In truth, this place is more for enjoying the atmosphere of the Han River than for savoring the taste of the drinks. It’s a tourist spot you can find in the heart of Seoul. That’s why the drink prices are not particularly cheap.

Although the prices are a bit on the higher side, it’s a great place to spend leisurely time feeling like you’re out on a Han River outing, where you can have a close view of the Han River and enjoy a travel-like atmosphere in the heart of the city. Especially, it’s a great place to consider for a date with your significant other.
