Seoul COEX, Taiwanese Cuisine ‘Wumen Guan’

Seoul COEX stands as a hub for South Korea’s MICE industry, hosting various exhibitions and conventions. Connected to COEX is Starfield COEX Mall, making the area consistently bustling with people, even on non-event days.

Given its perpetual crowd, numerous restaurants are scattered throughout COEX, making it an ideal place for dining. COEX, known for its complexity, can be challenging to navigate.

Within COEX, several restaurant clusters exist. At the entrance connecting from Samsung Station on Line 2 to COEX, within the Parnas Mall shopping complex, diverse restaurants can be found. Heading towards the city airport tower on the west side of COEX provides options for more affordable dining. Near the Asem Tower, you can also find a restaurant area, offering relatively straightforward meals.

Wumen Guan is a Taiwanese cuisine specialty restaurant located in the restaurant area towards the city airport tower.

“Wumen Jajangmyeon: 11,900 KRW”

I visited COEX to attend an event, and after concluding business meetings, I decided to have a simple lunch. Considering that more meetings were scheduled after lunch, I opted for a quick taste of their Wumen Jajangmyeon.

Priced at approximately 12,000 KRW, it seemed reasonable by COEX standards. Wumen Guan is not only a convenient spot for a quick meal at COEX but also an excellent choice for those with the time to explore set menus or main dishes.
