In Jeju Island, there’s a traditional dish called “Momguk,” where “Mom” in Jeju dialect means “seaweed” (fortunately, it doesn’t refer to the human body).
Momguk is a soup made by simmering seaweed and pork, creating a memorable combination of seafood and pork. The broth is quite hearty, falling somewhere between a soup and a porridge.
