After taking a bus, we arrived in Arashiyama and disembarked in front of the park. Right in front of the bus stop, we found Togetsukyo Bridge, known as the starting point for Arashiyama journeys. Togetsukyo translates to “Moon Crossing Bridge.”

Although the bridge is now made of concrete, its surroundings feature wooden railings and supports, giving it a traditional, wooden structure feel. This bridge, situated in the heart of Arashiyama, harmonizes well with the natural landscape.
