Jeju Airport Souvenir Shops

The time had come to leave Jeju after wrapping up our trip. Returning the rental car and arriving at the airport, I couldn’t help but feel like I had arrived too early. With a bit of time to spare and not enough to explore elsewhere, I decided to wander around Jeju Airport.

“Jeju Airport 3rd Floor Souvenir Shops”

I hadn’t purchased many souvenirs during my trip, thinking I might find some at Jeju Airport. However, I realized that when you spot something you want to buy, it’s best to do so right then and there.

As I attempted to shop for souvenirs at Jeju Airport, I found that some items were pricier than expected, and there were fewer things that really caught my eye. Before entering the departure gates at Jeju Airport, you can find souvenir shops on the 3rd floor, located on the east side. Here, you’ll come across stores with names like “Gamgyulbaram” (Tangerine Wind), “Local Specialties,” and “eJeju Island.”

While there are only about 3-4 shops in one area, it’s not a wide selection. However, it’s a place that can help alleviate the feeling of emptiness that comes with wrapping up a trip.

“Fridge Magnet: KRW 15,000”

Since I didn’t manage to get proper souvenirs during this trip to Jeju Island, I decided to purchase a fridge magnet here. However, the price was still quite significant. I hesitated about paying KRW 15,000 for a small fridge magnet, but I thought it would be a nice way to remember the trip, so I went ahead with it.

Traveling like this and making purchases along the way not only supports the travel and tourism industry but also sparks thoughts about the development of even better services and unique products. While I may not have the luxury of indulging in extravagant trips just yet, taking a moment here and there to soak in the travel atmosphere, even on a budget, seems like a worthwhile experience.

If you find yourself in a situation where you haven’t had the chance to pick up souvenirs after finishing your trip in Jeju Island, this is a great place to visit. However, personally, I recommend buying souvenirs ahead of time before arriving at the airport.
