Incheon Songdo Outlet: Hyundai Premium Outlet

Songdo, Incheon, is a newly developed city created by utilizing reclaimed land in Songdo, Incheon. By utilizing reclaimed land from north to south in Incheon, they created an international city. To the north lies Cheongna International City, and to the south is Songdo International City.

Songdo International City is transforming into a futuristic city with a combination of parks, residential areas, commercial districts, and campus zones.

In Songdo, you can find various outlets. Along with Hyundai Premium Outlet, there is also NC Cube Canal Walk Outlet. This time, I explored the Hyundai Premium Outlet, which is connected to Technopark Station on Incheon Subway Line 1.

The Songdo Hyundai Premium Outlet, which opened in 2016, is a large-scale commercial facility in Songdo. It has been affectionately nicknamed “SongHyeonA” as it has firmly established itself in the local commercial area.

In 2019, it recorded the 5th highest annual sales in the country at 347.9 billion KRW. In 2020, it was affected by COVID-19 and recorded the 6th highest annual sales in the country at 323.4 billion KRW.

“Stylish Atmosphere at Songdo Hyundai Outlet”

The Songdo Hyundai Outlet exudes an upscale atmosphere. It consists of a basement floor and a ground floor. The ground floor has an outdoor area, while the basement is operated in the form of a well-organized shopping mall.

Especially in the basement, you can find Kyobo Bookstore, which is considered the number one bookstore in Korea. On one side, you can also find a premium restaurant district, and various shopping malls are located, allowing you to solve multiple needs in one place.

“Connected to Songdo Triple Street, Hyundai Outlet”

Behind the Songdo Hyundai Outlet, “Triple Street” is located. Triple Street is also in the form of a large shopping mall where you can find various stores. It is also connected to the Hyundai Outlet underground, serving as a gateway for those visiting Triple Street via the subway.

It can be considered a space responsible for the shopping of Songdo residents, an outlet located in the heart of Songdo’s downtown. Of course, it may take quite some time to visit from Seoul, but for Songdo residents, it’s a convenient outlet to shop in.
