On July 27, 1999, Starbucks opened its first branch in front of Ewha Woman’s University, marking its landing in South Korea. In the early days, there was controversy over the expensive coffee compared to the cost of a meal. However, Starbucks has now firmly established its presence in South Korea. It has also become a global company, following in the footsteps of McDonald’s, creating a new global index, the Starbucks Index, following the Big Mac Index.
“Starbucks Anchored in the Center of Gwangmyeong Cheolsan Station”
Starbucks has now become a representative franchise coffee shop in South Korea. Especially in busy commercial areas, you can find multiple Starbucks stores. In the vicinity of Cheolsan Station, you can find three Starbucks stores: Cheolsan Branch, Cheolsan Rodeo Branch, and Cheolsan Station Branch. Among these, the newest addition is the store located between exits 3 and 4 of Cheolsan Station.
“Clean Atmosphere: Starbucks Cheolsan Station Branch”
Being the latest Starbucks to open, the building is the cleanest. It exudes a slightly cleaner and more open atmosphere compared to the two existing Starbucks locations. The size also feels a bit larger than the other two. Although it may appear smaller from the outside, stepping inside reveals a relatively spacious interior.
“Experience the Cozy Atmosphere Unique to Starbucks”
Starbucks Cheolsan Branch doesn’t differ significantly from other Starbucks locations. It maintains the familiar Starbucks ambiance.
The store is adorned with jazz music, appropriate lighting, and tasteful interior design, providing a comfortable setting. It’s a great place to spend time with friends or a significant other, work on a laptop, or visit for various purposes.
