Paulie’s is a restaurant that makes and sells authentic New York-style pizza. American pizza was introduced by people from southern Italy to the United States in the late 1900s.
Over time, the dough became thinner, crispier, and chewier, giving birth to the current New York pizza. It has established itself in Korea as a restaurant selling American, especially New York-style, pizza.

“Menu at Paulie’s”
The menu at Paulie’s offers a variety of options. The menu board is so large that it may actually be a bit difficult to see everything at a glance. For first-time visitors, it might be a bit challenging to figure out how to place an order.
The menu categories can be divided as follows:
- Appetizers
- Salads
- Pasta
- Classic Pizza
- Signature Pizza
The overall price range for pizzas starts from around KRW 19,000 for a basic cheese pizza, with an average price range of about KRW 25,000. In addition to pizza, you can find appetizers, salads, pasta, and more on the menu.
“Garlic Cheese Fries, Salad, Pizza”
On the day of our visit, there were four of us. Thanks to that, it wasn’t easy to gather opinions on what to order, from the order itself to the menu selection.
In the end, we ordered two pizzas, garlic cheese fries, and a salad. I don’t remember exactly which pizzas we ordered on that day. It was probably a cheese pizza and a combination pizza.
Personally, I enjoy simple pizzas, so I was able to enjoy the cheese pizza. Also, the pizza sizes are quite large, making it a good place for hearty eaters. I’ve heard stories that in the United States, where resources are abundant, they serve food generously even if you leave some behind. Here, too, as they serve American-style pizza, I get the feeling they follow a similar policy.
The prices are quite high for a restaurant, but it’s a great place for those who miss American food, as you can experience the American atmosphere and taste American-style pizza.
