Between Ansan City Hall and Jungang Station, you can find various restaurants and cafes. The area around Jungang Station in Ansan is one of the bustling commercial districts and naturally offers a wide range of dining options.
This time, I visited a restaurant called “Youngwol Aegondre,” known for its generous servings of traditional Korean meals.
“Ansan Hanjeongsik Restaurant: Youngwol Aegondre”
Located on the 2nd floor of the Praum City building, “Youngwol Aegondre” utilizes quite a spacious area. With its overall luxurious ambiance, the restaurant feels like a suitable place for family gatherings or special occasions.
Youngwol Aegondre operates as a franchise, with its main branch in Namdong-gu, Incheon, and a branch in Ansan. It is still a relatively small franchise restaurant chain.
“The restaurant offers Hanjeongsik featuring dishes like mackerel set and pork bulgogi.”
The menu here mainly consists of set meals, particularly Hanjeongsik. One of its strengths is the inclusion of dishes like mackerel, providing a variety that sets it apart.
Visiting with a group, we ordered a range of dishes such as the mackerel set and pork bulgogi set, sharing and savoring different main courses.
“The restaurant provides a salad bar for diners.”
At Youngwol Aegondre, they offer a salad bar. This allows diners to choose additional side dishes from a variety of options, in addition to the standard banchan. It provides the advantage of being able to try different foods according to your taste.
Overall, it’s a place that offers hearty and clean meals. The interior is also neat and gives off a luxurious vibe, making it a great option for family gatherings or date nights.
