Mulwang Lake (Mulwang Reservoir) is a great place to visit in the Siheung and Ansan area. It may not be fully developed as a park like Ilsan Lake Park or Gwanggyo Lake Park, but it boasts its own unique charm. The unspoiled feel of the undeveloped reservoir actually brings a calming and genuine atmosphere.

Around Mulwang Reservoir, you can find various restaurants and cafes. This time, I visited a restaurant called “An Dong Jangteo Beef Rice Soup.”

An Dong Jangteo Beef Rice Soup is located near Mulwang Reservoir, but it’s not a place where you can see the reservoir from the restaurant. Therefore, it might not be the best place to consider for its ambiance, but it’s a good place to enjoy a warm bowl of rice soup with good value.

This spacious place offers menu items like An Dong Rice Soup, Jang Rice Soup, An Dong Beef Rib Soup, and An Dong Braised Short Ribs. It’s a great place for a hearty meal.

The price for a bowl of rice soup ranges from 8,000 KRW to 10,000 KRW, which is quite reasonable. An Dong Jangteo offers only four menu options, which you can find below:

We visited in the late evening and arrived just before they were about to close. We were able to have a close call meal. We ordered the An Dong Rice Soup, which provided a hearty and satisfying meal.

After finishing our meal, we tried to take a picture of the sign, but the lights were already off, making it look like the doors were closed. Nevertheless, it was a place where we could enjoy a fulfilling meal.
