Starbucks has become a cafe easily found in major cities around the world. In Korea, there was controversy following the opening of the first store in Ihwa Women’s University, with some calling it the “Fermented Soybean Paste Girl.” However, now it has become a cafe as easily accessible as convenience stores.
In Yeonhui-dong, you can find two Starbucks stores. One is a bit south of Yeonhui Samgeori, and the other is a bit northeast from Yeonhui Samgeori.

Starbucks Yeonhui Drive-Thru is located northeast of Yeonhui Samgeori. This Starbucks store operates a drive-thru, allowing you to order coffee directly from your car during busy mornings. It’s situated next to Yeonhui Elementary School.
The store consists of two floors, with a separate space designated for Reserve customers. You can either spend time on the first floor after placing your order, or head up to the second floor. Since the first floor includes the order counter, you’ll find more seating options on the second floor.

The second floor provides a relatively open space. Compared to other Starbucks stores in Yeonhui-dong, which are single-story and might feel a bit cramped, Starbucks Yeonhui Drive-Thru offers a refreshing sense of openness with its large, floor-to-ceiling windows.
It’s a great place to study alone, or to meet up for gatherings or dates.
