Seoul Namseong Station Grill Restaurant, ‘Baekje Galbi’

There is a rather sophisticated grill restaurant near Namseong Station. It’s called ‘Baekje Galbi,’ and it exudes a high-end vibe even from a distance. True to its name, Baekje Galbi offers a variety of meat dishes, ranging from prime rib to pork belly and hanwoo sirloin.

Baekje Galbi boasts a long history. It’s one of the relatively older grill restaurants you can find in Sadang-dong, having operated for over 30 years.

“A Clean and Elegant Grill Restaurant, Baekje Galbi”

Baekje Galbi features a clean and elegant atmosphere. It’s not just outwardly polished; the interior is also tastefully designed. Private rooms are available, making it suitable for hosting and entertaining guests.

Overall, it’s a place with a clean and upscale ambiance, making it especially nice for hosting guests.

“Enjoy a Variety of Meat Cuts at Baekje Galbi”

As a grill restaurant, you can naturally savor various cuts of meat including hanwoo beef and pork. They offer a wide selection of dishes, from hanwoo yukhoe (raw beef) to hanwoo bulgogi (marinated beef), chadolgui (beef brisket), hanwoo sirloin, sosang galbi (beef ribs), soyangnyeom galbi (seasoned beef ribs), dwaeji wang galbi (pork ribs), dwaeji galbi (pork ribs), saeng samgyeopsal (fresh pork belly), ori chadol (duck with brisket), and hoonje ori barbecue (smoked duck).

They also have a range of meal menu options, including samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup), galbitang (beef rib soup), dolsot galbitang (stone pot beef rib soup), yeongyang dolsotbab (nutritious stone pot rice), jeyuk ssambap (spicy pork with lettuce wraps), yukgaejang (spicy beef soup), dolsot bibimbap (stone pot mixed rice), bibimbap (mixed rice), deungol galbitang (rib soup), ttukbaegi bulgogi (stone pot bulgogi), mulnaengmyeon (cold noodles in broth), bibimnaengmyeon (spicy cold noodles), and hoenaengmyeon (noodles in cold broth).

On this visit, I opted for naengmyeon (cold noodles) and mandu (dumplings) to have a light meal since I had already eaten a hearty lunch earlier. The naengmyeon was generous and refreshing, making me think it would be a great place to return for meat later.

Although it’s a grill restaurant, it’s a clean and sophisticated establishment. It could serve as a nice spot for a date, and it’s also suitable for family gatherings. Knowing about this place could be helpful for various occasions.
