Bukchon Handmade Dumplings is a franchise establishment in South Korea operated by Bukchon People Co., Ltd. The restaurant specializes in selling dumplings and cold noodles. You can find their stores all over South Korea, including at Konkuk University Star City.
“Star City B1 Restaurant Section, Bukchon Handmade Dumplings”
Bukchon Handmade Dumplings Star City branch is located on the B1 floor of the Star City building. If you follow the corridor from the floor where E-Mart is located, you’ll come across it. Given the considerable size of Star City, you’ll find cafes and restaurants scattered throughout, but you can find Bukchon Handmade Dumplings at the entrance of the area where the restaurants are clustered.

Since I was visiting Star City alone, I was looking for a place suitable for a solo meal, and Bukchon Handmade Dumplings seemed like a good choice. Fortunately, I ordered a set of rice cake dumpling soup and four dumplings for KRW 9,000, allowing me to have a meal for that price.
They also offer individual menu items, which can be ordered between KRW 7,000 and KRW 8,500. Of course, due to recent rapid inflation, there is a possibility that prices have increased. The menu includes the following:

“A Comfortable Atmosphere”
The store is generally not too spacious or cramped. There are about six tables in total, providing space for up to about 20 guests at once. The interior is also relatively plain, exuding the typical atmosphere of a regular restaurant.
Overall, it’s a straightforward restaurant, especially suitable for dining alone. It’s a great place for solo dining, as they say.
