In Hapjeong, Seoul, you can discover a cafe street. From the narrow alley behind Exit 4 of Hapjeong Station on Subway Line 2, extending to the distance between Sangsu Station and Hongdae KT&G Sangsangmadang Hongdae Branch, is known as the cafe street.
Hapjeong Cafe Street offers a variety of unique cafes. However, this time, I visited a cafe in Hapjeong, but not on the cafe street itself. Instead, I explored a cafe located in Hapjeong but in a different area.
“Seoul Hapjeong Holt Children’s Welfare”
Near Hapjeong Station, you can find the “Holt Children’s Welfare” organization. If you come out of Exit 8 of the subway station and walk a bit, you’ll find it. When groups take buses near Hapjeong Station to go somewhere, they often board the bus in front of Holt Children’s Welfare.
“Holt Children’s Welfare Cafe: Five Fu”
In 2023, we decided to rent a Pentafort bus for a group visit, arriving a bit early and having some time to spare. As we looked around, we found a small cafe on the underground floor of the Holt Children’s Welfare building. Although hidden inside the building, it was a cozy place named “Five Fu.” It turned out to be a great spot to spend time comfortably.
Especially, needing to charge the batteries of electronic devices, I was fortunate to find seats with accessible power outlets.
When you need to spend time near Holt Children’s Welfare in Hapjeong, “Five Fu” is a great place to consider, offering a cozy and intimate atmosphere.
