Seoul Gwanghwamun Café – “Neuti”

The Gwanghwamun area stands out as one of Seoul’s prime office-dense locations, home to government offices like the Seoul City Hall, various embassies, and headquarters of major and minor enterprises, making it a hub for office workers.

Given the high concentration of office workers, a diverse range of cafes can be found, ranging from the familiar ones like Starbucks to independently operated small cafes and budget-friendly franchise cafes.

“Gwanghwamun Northside Café – Neuti”

Heading west from Gwanghwamun Square, towards the northeast of the Seoul Museum of History, an alleyway unfolds, revealing a serene neighborhood street. It exudes a different atmosphere compared to the high-rise buildings that dominate the Gwanghwamun area.

Near the entrance of the alleyway, you’ll discover quite an atmospheric café, Neuti. It boasts a considerable size and operates as a Northside café.

“A Tranquil Atmosphere at the Book Café”

Stepping into Neuti, you’ll experience a calm yet warm atmosphere. Various seating arrangements are available throughout the cafe.

There are open seats, and you can also find smaller meeting room-like spaces. If needed, you can enter one of the meeting rooms for business discussions.

“Café with a Terrace”

While I didn’t spend time outdoors due to rainy weather, Neuti provides a terrace for outdoor seating. On a pleasant day, enjoying time on the outdoor terrace can be delightful.

Unlike the cafes typically found in high-rise buildings around Gwanghwamun, Neuti presents itself as a charming and sophisticated café reminiscent of a tranquil neighborhood alleyway. It’s an excellent place for a date or a business meeting venue, offering a unique and appealing atmosphere.
