Doctor Robin is a restaurant that declares “No Sugar, No Butter, No MSG” and prepares food with healthy cooking methods. They offer dishes such as pizza, pasta, and salads, and operate a food research lab as a pure domestic brand. With their philosophy of using no sugar, no fat, and natural ingredients, they present recipes that reduce calorie intake, making them popular among those who are on a diet.
Moreover, they take a leading role in environmental protection. They were the first in the domestic food service industry to introduce straws made of rice and make efforts to reduce plastic use by replacing plastic cups, bags, and packaging with paper alternatives. With over 20 branches nationwide, it’s a restaurant you can find in major urban areas.
“Doctor Robin Gwanghwamun Branch at Gwanghwamun D Tower”
You can also find Doctor Robin in “D Tower,” located to the east of Gwanghwamun Square. It’s situated on the 5th floor of D Tower. When you enter through the main gate of D Tower and take the escalator up, you’ll find it.
The dining area in Gwanghwamun D Tower is designed to be open overall, so even inside the building, you’ll hardly feel stuffy. Thanks to this, you can have a meal in a place where you can feel openness.
“You can find menus like pizza and pasta at Doctor Robin”
As Doctor Robin is a family restaurant, they naturally offer a variety of menus. They serve Italian dishes like pasta and pizza. They also have signature dishes like Whole Pumpkin Cream Soup, Bacon & Roe Cream Pasta, Seafood Broth Pasta, and Double Hamburger Steak.
“3-Person Set Menu, Whole Pumpkin Cream Soup”
During this visit, I ordered the 3-person set menu. I also added the signature dish, “Whole Pumpkin Cream Soup.”
Since there were four of us, the 3-person set might have been a bit short, so we had a total of two pizzas, Mentaiko Pasta, and a salad. In line with Doctor Robin’s healthy concept, we could taste a pleasant flavor without feeling overwhelmed by ingredients like MSG. Overall, it’s a place that offers a clean and straightforward taste.
We dined in the hall, which had high ceilings and a lot of sunlight coming in through the windows. It felt bright and not stuffy.
It’s a great place to visit for group meals, including corporate dinners, family gatherings, and date nights.
