Seoul Gwanghwamun Bakery ‘OUR Bakery’

‘OUR Bakery’ is a premium bakery brand created by “CNP FOOD,” the company behind the success story of the premium snack brand ‘Dosan Snack,’ which opened its doors in July 2016 in Apgujeong-dong.

This is not just a place that sells bread and coffee, but a space that aims to combine cultural elements. It was born as a project motivated by a desire for a space to share with friends and a business venture that could be enjoyed together.

“Opening the First OUR Bakery in Apgujeong-dong”

The first OUR Bakery is located in Apgujeong-dong. At that time, Apgujeong Rodeo Street was losing its former glory as businesses were gradually leaving due to high rent. However, with the opening of OUR Bakery, people began to gather again, and it became a place where famous restaurants and unique dessert cafes started to gather.

After the opening of OUR Bakery’s Dosan branch, it quickly grew and now operates 13 stores in Seoul and 7 stores overseas, steadily expanding.

“OUR Bakery Gwanghwamun Deplis Branch”

You can also find OUR Bakery in the Gwanghwamun area, specifically on the first floor of the “Deplis Building” located behind the LG Gwanghwamun Building. Deplis Building exudes an upscale atmosphere even in Gwanghwamun.

Since OUR Bakery is also a brand with an upscale feel, it complements the building well. When you enter through the first-floor entrance, you can see a variety of bread displayed.

“Experience a Variety of Breads at OUR Bakery”

It gives off a feeling of selling special bread compared to what you commonly find in bakeries. Each bread seems to be made with great care, exuding a distinctive charm.

Some of the most popular menu items include “Dirty Choco,” “Nutella Banana,” and “Red Mikkare.” Even if you don’t order the recommended menu, it’s perfectly fine to choose based on your taste, as each bread showcases its own special character.

As they offer unique and delicious bread, the prices are relatively higher compared to other typical bakeries. However, you can distinctly feel the difference in character for each bread compared to those sold elsewhere. The breads I tasted this time were all very crispy and firm on the outside, but soft on the inside. This bakery provides bread that even people who don’t particularly like bread would find delicious.

As a bakery where I look forward to tasting the flavors of other breads I haven’t tried yet, it’s a place that doesn’t just grab people’s attention for no reason.
