Seoul Euljiro Cafe, Starbucks Euljiro Naeo Building R

On July 27, 1999, Starbucks landed in South Korea with its first branch in front of Ewha Womans University. Initially, there was controversy due to coffee prices being higher than a meal, but now Starbucks has firmly established its presence in South Korea.

Especially within a 1km radius of Gwanghwamun Square, it boasts the highest density of Starbucks stores, surpassing even New York. Not only in the Gwanghwamun area, but also in places leading to City Hall and Euljiro Entrance, Starbucks is almost as easy to find as convenience stores. Near Euljiro Entrance Station, you can find several Starbucks locations.

The Starbucks in Euljiro Naeo Building can be found right in front of Exit 4 of Euljiro Entrance Station. On the diagonal opposite side, you can see Lotte Hotel and Lotte Department Store.

This Starbucks, located in various places in Euljiro, is similar to other Starbucks stores and is characterized by its relatively spacious layout. It’s also a “Reserve” store, allowing you to taste higher-quality coffee.

“In Euljiro Entrance Area, Cafes Tend to Open Early and Close Early”

Many of the Starbucks in the Euljiro Entrance area target working professionals, which may be why many of them tend to open early in the morning but close relatively early.

Starbucks Euljiro Naeo Building R, like other Starbucks in the Euljiro area, follows this pattern of opening early and closing early. On weekdays, it opens at 7:00 AM and closes at 8:00 PM, while on weekends, it opens at 9:00 AM and closes at 5:00 PM.
