Seoul Anguk Station Soft Tofu Restaurant ‘Jaedong Soon Tofu’

As you enter the beginning of Bukchon Hanok Village in Seoul, you’ll find a place where traditional Korean houses, known as ‘hanok,’ gather. If you exit from Anguk Station’s Exit 2 and walk up the street, you’ll come across an alley filled with hanok buildings. This place is Jaedong Hanok Village.

While not as famous as Bukchon Hanok Village, it’s a small hanok village within Bukchon Village where many restaurants operate in hanok buildings.

“Jaedong Soon Tofu, Selected as One of Seoul’s Top 100 Modern and Contemporary Buildings”

Jaedong Soon Tofu was also selected as one of Seoul’s top 100 modern and contemporary buildings. It’s been in business for a long time inside a hanok building, which may be why it was chosen for such architectural recognition.

It’s a place where you can have a Korean meal in a hanok building, making it an excellent restaurant for foreign visitors looking for an experience that encapsulates Korean culture.
