Mom’s Touch is a South Korean hamburger and chicken franchise brand, standing as a prominent fast-food brand in South Korea, following the likes of McDonald’s, Lotteria, and Burger King.
The brand originated from the concept of creating a local fast-food restaurant by the Haemaro, an affiliate of Daehan Flour Mills, which operated the international chicken brand “Papis.” Though it ventured into the United States, Singapore, Vietnam, and Taiwan, it eventually withdrew from Vietnam and Taiwan.
“Seoul Donam-dong, Mom’s Touch Donam Sky Apartment Branch”
Mom’s Touch can be found in select areas, and one such location is in Donam-dong, specifically at the Donam Kolon Sky Apartment Shopping Mall.
Although it’s an area traversed by the U Line Gyeongchun, it’s somewhat distant from the subway, situated in the commercial district within the large apartment complex.
I happened to visit the area and decided to have a simple meal during lunchtime, leading me to Mom’s Touch.
“A Neat and Moderate-Sized Mom’s Touch Branch”
The Mom’s Touch Donam Sky Apartment branch is relatively moderate in size. While not particularly large, it falls within the scope of a typical restaurant size commonly found in neighborhoods.
The menu offers standard items found in other Mom’s Touch branches, including combo meals with burgers, chicken, and more. For a quick solo meal, I ordered a burger combo.
Despite its compact size, the store was well-maintained and notably featured the vibrant yellow hues associated with Mom’s Touch. This contributed to a clean and bright atmosphere, making it a comfortable place for a quick meal.
It’s a suitable spot in the neighborhood for those looking to grab a quick bite, whether it be a burger or chicken.
