Jumunjin, Goblin Drama Filming Location “Yeongjin Beach Breakwater”

Yeongjin Beach in Jumunjin, Gangneung, was originally a quiet coastal village. However, it gained fame as a popular tourist destination after the drama “Goblin.”

The beach, where Gong Yoo and Kim Go-eun took photos against the backdrop of the sea, became a bustling spot for people taking commemorative pictures. It gained even more popularity after being featured in the TV show “Battle Trip: Gangneung.”

In the Goblin filming location, there are breakwaters scattered around, and among them, the breakwater in front of “Haerang Hoejib” is said to be the Goblin filming location.

Even on a quiet weekday afternoon, there were quite a few people taking commemorative photos when I visited here. Especially, since the weather was good, it was a perfect day for taking photos. Although it was a bit chilly, the sunlight made the photos come out very clear.

“Good Weather, Bad Weather, Just Right Weather…”

If we were to describe this place with a famous line from the drama “Goblin,” it would be, “Good weather, bad weather, just right weather…” It’s a great place to visit regardless of the weather.

Although it’s a small beach, it’s a great place to take commemorative photos. It’s a wonderful spot to visit with your loved one and capture memories.
