Jeju Seogwipo Large Cafe ‘EPL’

In Jeju Island, you can find a variety of cafes. As it is one of the representative tourist destinations in South Korea, and a region where you can enjoy beautiful natural landscapes, you can explore charming cafes all around.

Near Seogwipo Wimi Port in Jeju, you can find a large-scale cafe called ‘EPL’. EPL is a brunch cafe that spans three floors, providing a rooftop area.

“Jeju Seogwipo Large Cafe, EPL”

I’m not sure why this place is named EPL. While visiting the cafe, I wondered if it had something to do with the English Premier League due to the name, but it’s a cafe completely unrelated to soccer.

The cafe is quite spacious, covering an area of about 400 square meters with a well-maintained garden. The first floor operates as a brunch cafe, the second floor serves as a cafe and bakery, and the second and third floors are spaces for guests to stay.

“3rd Floor Rooftop Cafe”

Going up to the third floor, you can see that there is a seating area on the rooftop. Since Jeju Island often has good weather, it’s nice to spend leisurely time outdoors on sunny days. From the rooftop, you can enjoy the surrounding scenery, and even see the Jeju sea in the distance. However, it’s a bit far, so the impact isn’t as strong.

“Aesthetic Space”

Especially, the garden is well-maintained, creating an atmosphere that feels open both indoors and outdoors. It’s a great place to spend leisurely time away from the city.

“Jeju Tour Pass”

This place is accessible with the Jeju Tour Pass. By using the Jeju Tour Pass, you can enjoy a free cup of Americano.

When I visited this place on SOINBAE.com, I ordered “Black Pork Abalone Croquette” along with a cup of coffee. It was a nice spot for a simple brunch.

Thanks to that, I was able to start the morning refreshed and have some preparation time to review today’s schedule. But why is the cafe named “EPL”? Just by hearing the name, it gives off a feeling of a pub where you can watch soccer while spending time, but it’s a place with a completely different atmosphere, which adds to its unique charm.
