Incheon Airport Terminal 2 Food Court ‘Korean Culinary Path’

Incheon Airport currently serves as the central airport of South Korea. It opened on March 29, 2001, taking over the international flight functions from Gimpo International Airport. Currently, there are two terminals, with Terminal 2 being a new terminal built in preparation for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, utilized by airlines such as Korean Air, Air France, Delta Air Lines, and KLM.

Incheon Airport Terminal 2 is comparatively smaller and less crowded than Terminal 1. This may be partly due to the aftermath of COVID-19, but even in terms of basic size, it feels smaller than Terminal 1.

“Incheon Airport Terminal 2 Food Court, Korean Culinary Path”

On the B1 floor of Incheon Airport Terminal 2, there is a food court called “Korean Culinary Path.” If you arrive at the airport via the Airport Railroad, you can easily find it.

The advantage of the food court with the name “Korean Culinary Path” is that you can taste various foods in one place. This is because you can find several restaurants all in one location. The prices are reasonable, and you can have a meal for about KRW 10,000 per person.

“Restaurants in Korean Culinary Path”

  • Bukchang-dong Soft Tofu Stew
  • Gyo-dong Jjambbong (Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup)
  • Hanok House Kimchi Stew
  • Yongho Nakji (Spicy Stir-fried Octopus)
  • Sol Memil (Buckwheat Noodles)
  • Sol Mandu (Dumplings)
  • Family Restaurant (Bibimbap)

The stores at Korean Culinary Path are as listed above. It’s a good place to have a meal if you have some time after arriving at the airport and before boarding your flight. It’s also a convenient option if you want to have a meal in Korea after returning from your trip abroad.

“Kimchi Stew”

On this day, I ordered the Kimchi Stew at Incheon Airport Terminal 2. The price was about KRW 10,000, which was reasonable.

While the overall taste of the food was good, it was a bit on the salty side. Personally, I prefer milder and less salty food.

It seems that this place may primarily cater to guests who have just returned from overseas trips, as many people may be looking for spicy and flavorful dishes.
